Course of study and contents of the Master’s in Project Studies
The study programme is focused on the areas creative project development and project implementation. This programme includes three taught modules that you complete one after the other. As part of your studies, and in order to successfully complete the study programme, you will need to independently plan, develop and implement of a project of your choice depending on your chosen project area.
The total learning hours for this programme are as follows: (i) Contact hours – 160; (ii) Supervised hours – 40; (iii) Self-study hours 2010; (iv) Assessment hours – 40.
The pass rate for this programme is 98% .

Admission requirements
For admission to the Master in Project Studies, the Maltese regulations apply:
- An MQF/EQF level 6 full qualification obtained from a recognised College/Institute/University in Science or Technology Humanities, Social Sciences or Economics (depending on the field of study/project the learner chooses to focus)
- Applicants who are not native English speakers are required to provide evidence of English fluency equivalent to an IELTS of 6

FAQ: Frequently asked questions
What exams are required?
In the Master of Science in Project Studies, all examinations are based on your individual project, regardless of the exam format used. These include various forms of written work, such as a research essay plus bibliography related to your project, a description of your research design, and of course different components of your project planning: timeline, risk analysis and risk management, etc. At the end, you will document your project as a master’s thesis and present it in person.
Does a Master’s degree entitle me to take up a doctorate?
Yes, the Master of Science in Project Studies degree generally qualifies you for doctoral studies at Triagon. However, to be admitted to a doctoral program, you also need a compelling research project that you can effectively present in an interview.
