The programmes are governed by the Study and Examination Regulations for Doctoral Studies and are designed to develop advanced research competence in business, management, psychology, IT and technology, social sciences and other fields. The dissertation forms the central component of the programmes and must constitute an independent scholarly contribution that meets scientific standards and advances knowledge in science or professional practice. Assessment follows a formal doctoral procedure comprising two independent expert reviews, a viva voce before a doctoral assessment panel of three professors, documented minutes of the oral examination, and a final overall grade based on documented and consistent assessment criteria.
